Her task

In the future the dog Camie at Siljas side should take over the role of a constant companion, to alert for example like an early warning system threatening convulsions at night.

Dogs are able to recognize the signals of an approaching fit by the change of body language and smells and pass this information on to the parents.

In addition dealing with Camie clearly affected Silja's communicative facilities positively during all past meetings. Her co-ordination and concentration were substantially improved.

Furthermore Silja's body perception is triggered by cuddling the dog, at the same time, however, Silja will figure out her limits by the change of action and reaction - an experience being only together with humans often cannot give her.
